Draws designs on tracing paper and transfers them onto cloth to provide guide for embroidery: Sketches patterns with pencil, selecting or creating designs approved by customer. Guides pattern under needle of machine that perforates pattern lines. Rubs wax, powder, or charcoal over perforated lines with wet brush or pouncer to transfer pattern outline to cloth, providing guide for embroidery.
